- The service
GetawayRental.com is a marketplace for vacation home rentals. Our service provides the
vacation home owner with a convenient and cost effective means of marketing their
apartment without the excessive costs of rental agencies. Once your apartment is listed,
vacationers from around the world will begin contact you to rent your vacation
home. To list your apartment, go to the registration
page and follow the page links to add photos and your apartment
details.

- Security
The exact address of your vacation home is never made available. Any address information
that you completed for contact Registration is for internal use only. Also, since an explicit description and photographs are uploaded
on the site, only extremely interested parties will contact you.

- Our clientele
Lessors can feel secure leasing their apartment through our service. Our
marketing initiatives are directed towards the most prestigious graduate schools and businesses
throughout the world.

- Multiple Listings
If you have multiple listings, you must re-register for each additional
listing. Everything on the registration can be completed with the same information;
BUT you must use a NEW PASSWORD. Once you have completed a new registration,
complete the apartment details of the new listing. Repeat this process for
each additional listing. Remember to keep track of the password used for
each listing; this will enable you to easily update/delete a particular
listing when needed.

- GetawayRental Fees
There is a $20 monthly fee for each vacation home listed in our database..

- Pricing your vacation home
We recommend that our clients price their apartments at a fair market value.
|
- Expenses
We suggest that the price your rental include utility, cable and other miscellaneous expenses.
Renters should not be made responsible for such expenses. We also recommend
that the telephone service be
included in the price.

- The security deposit
The determination and collection of the security deposit is the owner's responsibility. We recommend that security deposit for your listing be the
lessor of 25% of the rental.

- Choosing the season dates
Seasons are intended to differentiate between times when a vacation home should
be rented for higher or lower prices. Be careful when choosing season date they
will determine the success rate of a rental property.

- Deleting your listing
Once your apartment has been rented, please return to the site to remove
the listing. To do this, goto the Owner Home Page and click on "update
/ remove listing". After entering your password, your listing should
appear. Proceed to the bottom of the page and click the "delete"
button. Your apartment will then be deleted.

- Renter negotiations
Renters will contact owners directly. At this point, all negotiations are
between the owner and renter.

- Viewing other listings
If you are interested in seeing the other listings available in your area, Goto the
home page, enter as a Renter and browse the
inventory.
